Kurumlar ve uluslararası ticaret arasındaki karşılıklı geçişler ve tamamlayıcı öğelerin kısaca vurgulanmasından sonra her iki literatürün kesişme noktaları literatürden örneklerle belirtilmiştir. Elinizdeki eserin esas konusu ise çok uluslu ve mukayeseli bir ampirik çalışma sayesinde hangi kurumlar ve onların ürettiği yönetişim unsurlarının ikili ticaret hacmi üzerinde –daha etkili olduğunun cevabının bulunmasıdır. Bu bölümde kullanılan göstergeler ve diğer etkenler (ekonomik, coğrafi vb.) arasındaki ilişkiler ve nihayet ikili ticaret hacmine etkileri çeşitli istatistik ve ekonometrik araçlar yoluyla ortaya konmuştur. Sonuç olarak, 9 farklı yönetişim unsurunu barındıran global yönetişim değişkeni ve bunun alt kümesi olan bürokratik kalite, yolsuzluk ve hukuk düzeninin varlığı gibi unsurlar bir yandan temel bir kategori olarak yönetsel ya da yönetişim kalitesinin belirleyicisiyken; öte yandan ikili ticaret hacmine etkileri bakımından diğer yönetişim unsurlarından ve coğrafi etkenlerden daha baskın görünmektedir. Bir bütün halinde bakıldığında sonuçlar yer yer çelişkili ve literatürdeki varsayımlara karşı önermeler yapmaktadır. Coğrafya ve kurumların etkileşimininin dış ticaret oranına etkilerinin incelendiği bu çalışmada değişkenlere dair pek az genelleme yapılabileceği sonucunu elde etmemizin yanısıra politika yapımını da ilgilendirir çıkarımlar mümkün görünmektedir. Yönetişim unsurlarının uluslararası ticarete etkisi bakımından ortaya çıkan sonuç ise yönetişimin teker teker değil; pek çok unsurun bir bileşkesi şeklinde anlaşılabilecek bir fenomen olduğudur.

There is a current need to focus on the relationship of social media areas and the addictiveness of social media practices. The fact is that social media, the effects of which can be found in every moment of daily life to the extent that it is easily accessible to almost every individual, has the potential to penetrate all macro- and micro-level relationships of the individual (political, social, economic, cultural, etc.) in the same way. Both an individual's needs and desires, as well as social media practices in terms of areas of use, make social media addiction possible. In this study, the relationship that social media usage has with addiction, over the headings of subject-freedom, an alternative media, democratic culture, and psychological satisfaction, which are the most important social media usage practices of individuals found in the existing literature, is theoretically discussed based on the literature using the technique of descriptive analysis. The importance of the relationship that addiction has with social media in terms of its structural features and usage areas has been emphasized in the results of the study at the same time as being separate from the existing studies in the literature. It has also been expressed in the literature that related to the use of social media, these usage areas, which correspond to the imposition of much more positive meaning in four basic stages, can at the same time open the road to social media addiction.

This book scrutinizes the last 15 years of exceptional growth in the Turkish economy, and presents a model for sustainable ongoing growth that has particular implications for other key emerging economies. The growth of the Turkish economy in the 2000's was based on two integrated fundamental factors: fixing deteriorating dynamics and implementing further reforms to stimulate economic activity. This basic formula led to pleasing rates of economic growth, fuelled particularly by domestic private investments along with revived consumption and exports. Driven by political stability established by single party governments in the post-2002 period, an improved economic outlook helped Turkey enjoy record levels of foreign investment, adding momentum to its growth story. The Turkish experience in the post-crisis period implies that in order to achieve a fast and - more importantly - sustainable onward growth, the economy needs a new generation of structural reforms that simultaneously heal fragility and vitalize economic activity. The papers in this book offer professional assessments and assistance - especially for policymakers, and present a new direction upon which the Turkish economy - and emerging markets - can progress successfully for a further 15 years.
